A great multitude assembled at ACK St. Barnabas Makutano today to witness as 696 gentlemen from all corners of the Diocese were enrolled to the Kenya Anglican Men Association (KAMA) by The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi.
14 of the Enrolled Men were Kanisa Madukani Reformers.
The enrollment was graced by a quorum of Clergy led by Ven. Canon John Mutonga, Ven. Counsel Fredrick Gacheru, Ven. Francis Thandi, Ven. Rufus Githaiga and Ven. Canon Juliet Bundi.
They were hosted by St. Barnabas Vicar Rev'd Nancy Gitu.
Kiambu Woman Representative Hon. Anne Muratha donated foot balls and a trophy to be used in tournaments.
The colourful event was organised by the KAMA Coordinator Rev'd Haron Muratha, Patron Mr Ken Wamitho and Chairman Mr. Andrew Kamiti.
The enrolled men were accompanied by their spouses and children.
Prof Paul Kibicho, the Guest Preacher engaged men on 5 attributes that, if cultivated, will be visible even to the next generation:
1. Step up and lead your family
2. Speak out - silence in the midst of sin is sin.
3. Stand strong
4. Be humble
5. Serve
We would love to hear from you. Get intouch
