The 122 children plus dozens of teens of ACK St. Mark's Ndurarua now have their own place of worship. The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi blessed the one storey Children Centre and Parish Administrative Block, which also houses an exquisite Vicar's Office and Boardroom. He was flanked by the Vicar and Ndurarua Area Dean Rev'd Lydiah Charles, Rev'd Phillip Kahiga, Rev'd Samuel Wamugi, retired Canon John Kamau Kabete CTYC Ev. Moses Kimotho and Ev. Moses Mucheru. The Bishop and Mum spared time to engage the children and teens that filled up the entire church hall. "Should Christians engage in money laundering? Are Christians expected to traffic and sell drugs or allow bars to operate within their premises? Should they engage in prostitution or sell their body parts, e.g, kidney? Is it spiritually sound for Christians to engage in corrupt deals; to receive or give bribes? Refrain from applying force, trickery or trading products harmful to human health to obtain wealth! Do not be deceived any business that causes human suffering and wealth unjustly acquired has consequences and lasts not." Bishop Charles reasoned with Christians in his thoroughly engaging homily delving on the Sub-theme of May 'God, Money and the Christian'. "Money is key to a dignified life: 1. It opens doors 2. It speaks volumes 3. It has feelings 4. It has wings 5. It has roots 6. It is a currency 7. It gives birth He observed before outlining the seven key attributes of tithing: 1. It is a command from God 2. It brings uplifting 3. It brings favour 4. It opens the heavens 5. It offers protection 6. It establishes God's hand in us and rebukes Satanic attacks 7. It brings expansion The Covenant Giving mechanism was launched and gladly embraced by the Parishioners. Loads of blankets and foodstuffs were donated by Christians to alleviate the suffering of flood victims in the Diocese. "It is God who enables us to acquire lasting wealth. Poverty is not a state of your pocket, it is the state of your mind!" The Sixth added
