The Iron Bishop; Bishop Emeritus Rt. Rev'd Peter Njenga's Autobiography is now the newest book in town after it was launched by the Archbishop Most Rev'd Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit* at _ACK All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi. The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi presided over the awesomely choreographed ceremony attended by a battery of Clergy drawn from all corners of The Province, an array of dignitaries and members of the political class led by Kiambu Deputy Governor, H.E. Rosemary Kirika, County Woman Representative Hon. Anne Muratha and Limuru MP Hon. John Kiragu. "Struggles, no matter how big or intense, become a ladder in which you climb to new and unknown platforms. In leadership, always bear in mind two things: 1. Where you are today, someone will be there tomorrow. One day, you will observe what you performed in excellence being done differently. 2. Therefore, let us all purpose to mentor others for tomorrow's posterity." Bishop Peter oozed wisdom. Bishop Emeritus of Thika Diocese Rt. Rev'd Gideon Githiga gave a preview of the autobiography. "Any true believer will be rejected, ridiculed, and frustrated, but this comes only to affirm and edify their indomitable spirit, character, and attributes. Today we celebrate a reputable hero of many whose unmatched charisma and firmness of belief even amidst tumultuous and perilious circumstances is now a model of effective, successful and lasting ministry to both God, man and the state, through commitment, hardwork and mentorship." His Grace, the Archbishop who was the Chief Guest articulated in his homily. Mama Nduta and Bishop Peter's family were in attendance. She was flanked by Mama Wanjiku. The Diocesan delegation comprising of a quorum of priests, evangelists, and Christians was led by Ven. Canon Catherine Kang’ethe, and Area Deans *Rev'd Capt. Kelvin Nyoike, Rev'd John Gitau and Rev'd Capt. Elijah Mbuthia. They were hosted by All Saints Cathedral Provost, Very Rev'd Canon Evans Omollo.
