Comunication Department board was inaugurated on May 6, 2023, we commenced sensitization workshops with communication representatives from our all our parishes within the diocese.

We established three caucuses, The Karen Chapter, The Kiambu Chapter and The Limuru Chapter so that we could enhance internal communication within the diocese by creating focused groups that facilitate information sharing and collaboration among clergy, parishioners, and staff. The three chapters adopted the name Communication Champions and established a communication structure that are headed by an elected representative of each chapter. The DMKS communication board was formed to oversee and coordinate communication efforts within our diocese, encompassing everything from publishing newsletters and bulletins to managing public relations and outreach, digital media and the internet, and adapting the Diocese to evolving communication technologies. This board remains a vital organ of the DMKS in facilitating transparent, timely, and strategic communication for religious organizations in the modern age.
