LIZZIE WANYOIKE CELEBRATED IN SOMBRE MEMORIAL SERVICE

Thousands flocked ACK St. Joseph of Arimathea, Thome for the Memorial Service of renown businesswoman, educationist, philanthropist, founder and CEO of the Nairobi Institute of Business Studies (NIBS), The Late Lizzie Muthoni Wanyoike.

The Service was presided by the resident Bishop Rt. Rev'd Joel Waweru with The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi in attendance as well Bishop Emeritus of Mt. Kenya Central Diocese, Rt. Rev'd Isaac Ng'ang'a and the Bishop of Thika Diocese Rt. Rev'd, Prof. Julius Wanyoike who gave the homily.

"Before our mortal bodies ultimately expire, may we make awesome use of them to ensure we bear good fruits even in posterity." Bishop Wanyoike articulated.

More Bishops were present, Priests drawn from multiple denominations, delegates, as well as members of the political class led by Muranga Governor H.E. Irungu Kangata, his deputy H.E. Stephen Munania, Kiambu Senator Hon. Karungo wa Thang'wa and Woman Representative Hon. Anne Muratha and Hon. Sabina Chege.

Bishop Charles made prayers for Lizzie's family members.

The Interment Service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at her Gatanga Home
