The service was led by Rev. Michael Ng'ang'a Vicar ACK Bishop Kariuki Kiahuria. Bishop Charles paid tribute to David Thairu, reminiscing that David was the one who admitted him into Vetlab Primary School in Class One. In his sermon, the Bishop reflected on the transformation that awaits believers: "We will be given new bodies in the kingdom of God. The Bible says we will stand before the throne, clothed in white robes, despite the many suits and clothes we wear in this life." He highlighted two things that cannot be buried: 1. Your Name 2. Your Character The Bishop also emphasized the importance of hard work and community, stating: "God does not favor laziness. He has called us to be diligent, and we must value living in fellowship with others. As long as we live, we should treasure our relationships with those around us." David Thairu was remembered as a hardworking man. He began his career as a teacher and rose through the ranks to become a head education officer
