DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATION LAUNCHES A SERIES OF PACESETTING BLUEPRINTS The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi, in an excellent affair earlier today, inaugurated multifaceted blueprints within the Department of Communication and Publicity at _ACK St. Andrew’s Ndenderu_ including: 1. Induction of 130 Communication Champions for official duty 2. Launch of Diocesan Website 3. Rebranding of Tai Worldwide Ministry to DMKS TAI ONLINE PARISH 4. Launch of Department of Communication and Publicity (DCP) Diocesan Policy and Strategy. Communication Champions are Parish representatives of the DCP whose duty is *to ensure a smooth and steady flow of communication and information from the Diocesan level to the Parish audience as well as sourcing for Parish based news and occurrences for consumption in the Diocesan level and beyond. Our Diocese, its Heritage, Key Events, Achievements, Congregations as from today are accessible within the palm of your hand following the launching of the ACK Diocese of Mt. Kenya South Website, https://ackdmks.org. Bishop Charles had the privilege of being the first to visit the website via bar code assisted by the product creator and member of the Communication Board *Mr. Yitzhak Njenga. Our pacesetting Diocesan Online Parish will no longer be known as Tai Worldwide Ministry. After a Rebrand, it finds a new face in a fresh logo and a friendlier name - DMKS TAI ONLINE PARISH in Youtube, Facebook, Twitter and Tiktok. This entity envisions a church without walls; a ministry unbound by boundaries. All major services and bulletins will be Live exclusively from the platform. The historic and trailblazing accomplishment, unmatched within the Province and beyond, were realised by the Board of Communication under the leadership of its Chairman Rev'd Michael Ng'ang'a, Vice-Chairman Mr. Thomas Kariuki,Treasurer Mr. Edward Njenga, Secretary and Departmental Coordinator Mr. Walter Wambote. They were hosted by Ndenderu Area Dean Rev'd Capt. Geoffrey Kinyanjui and Deanery Clergy. The Chairman of Laity, Mr. Ken Wamitho graced the ceremony.
