"Just as their is hope for a tree that has been felled, so can God usher a fresh chapter to those who have been downtrodden and tormented by life.
If our faith is deeply and entirely rooted in Christ, we will weather any tempest the devil throws your way. In fact, you will not only hear of the goodness of God, we will behold it with our very own eyes."
The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi_ reflected in his homily at ACK Emmanuel Thigio.
Assisted by Thamanda Area Dean Rev'd Samuel Mbugua, he baptised 4 children and a young man and welcomed 5 families to the Emmanuel Thigio Congregation.
He also taught Sunday School Children and dished out biscuits to them.
Notably, the congregants in the church have almost doubled after the construction of the new permanent sanctuary.
The Bishop, who is the Vicar of Emmanuel Thigio, was welcomed by his assistant Ev. John Thathi and resident *Lay Readers.
Mum was in the company of Mrs. Mbugua and Mrs. Thathi.
Bishop Charles also dished out maize seeds and top dressing fertiliser to all the families in attendance donated by the Kiambu County Government.
