"Your faith should not only be elaborately established, it should also be firmly rooted!"

The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi urged 317 Confirmation Candidates from Ndumberi Deanery before granting them permission to partake Holy Communion.

Candidates, parents, and godparents filled up the massive St. Peter and Veronica Sanctuary in Ndumberi.

The Service was presided by Cathedral Archdeacon, Very Rev'd Canon Geoffrey Mungai assisted by Deanery Clergy and Lay Readers.

They were hosted by Ndumberi Area Dean Rev'd Samuel Kiongo and Rev'd John Kinyanjui.

A good number of Diocesan and visiting Clergy attended as parents and godparents led by Ven. Job Kibi.

Mum was in the company of an equally generous representation of clergy spouses.

"Seek out worthy and reliable friends to accompany you in life's journey. Similarly, cultivate the ministry of presence; do not just send out money when your friends are in distress or celebrating, ensure you are also seen amongst them.

Have you been constantly afflicted and continuously wounded, do not loose the faith, God is even now turning the tables and tides to your favour, for even though a tree is felled, it will soon spring back to life."

Bishop Charles reasoned with Congregants in his homily derived upon the Sub-theme of July, 'Why does God allow suffering?'
