The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi was this afternoon welcomed to Uthiru Girls High School in style by troops drawn from St. John's Ambulance and Girls Scouts.
A perimeter wall and magnificent gate were blessed in a beautiful ceremony.
"It is the Bible that should guide the world and not vice versa. Sin may be sweet, but its consequences are painful." The Bishop reasoned with the ladies in a Holy Communion Service.
He was flanked by Uthiru Archdeacon Ven. Stephen Ngariuku, Ven Dr. Richard Kamau, Rev'd Jeremiah Muchoki, Rev'd Jamlick Muiruri and Rev'd Joseph Waweru.
They were hosted by the Principal Madam Faith Muchiri, the Chaplain Ev. Diana Ngondi, the Board and faculty.
The Bishop commended the Chaplain for igniting an awakening in the school.
