The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi was today at his home church, ACK St. Peter’s Uthiru, where he presided over all four services plus Sunday School.
In the afternoon, Students of Uthiru Girls led by their Chaplain Ev. Diana Ngondi crossed over for a Holy Communion Service.
Collectively, more than 3,000 individuals were present in all services.
The Bishop flanked by Uthiru Archdeacon Ven. Stephen Ngariuku and Kìùrù Area Dean Rev'd Jason Minae Launched the Church's 2024 Pillar Program.
Bishop and Mum led from the front by taking up the topmost pillars.
The Mother's Union President also received the newly elected M.U. Leaders while lauding all outgoing ones for a job well done.
The Bishop also presided over the groundbreaking ceremony of a new perimeter wall for the church compound in the presence of the Vicar and Christians.
"Success has no expiry date. Each day is a new chance to succeed. The deeper we are rooted in our faith, so shall our integrity, character, faithfulness, and spirituality be unshakable!" The Sixth expounded in his homily.
"Our diet is not what we eat, but what we read, watch, hear, and the company we keep." He added.
Bishop Charles vehemently condemned the ever-increasing femicide cases calling on men to respect ladies even as he urged the ladies to respect themselves.
