The Bishop Mashinani, Bishop kwa Ground, Bishop na Mahustler today turned its attention to the informal settlements of Kabiria in Riruta Satellite.
The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi and the Mashinani Team snaked through narrow roads and jumped black rivers to reach the needy and lowly.
The Bishop was accompanied by St. Paul's Kabiria Vicar, Rev'd Silviah Supeyo, Rev'd Elizabeth Kimang'a and PCC Members.
The pastoral visit began at ACK Happy Child Education Centre in Kabiria Parish, where the Bishop engaged and prayed with pupils in every class and gave them biscuits.
The Mashinani Team later visited the poor, sick, elderly, widows, differently-abled, and the downtrodden at their homes, giving them hope and sharing the love of Christ with them. They fellowshipped with them, annointing the sick and blessing their homes.
Each beneficiary received an assortment of foodstuffs and blankets.
Since the inception of the one-of-a-kind Bishop Mashinani Initiative, in March last year, The Sixth Mt. Kenya South's feet have stepped inside the dwellings of a remarkable 672 needy families.
Please continue supporting this noble ministry by dropping foodstuffs and blankets at The Bishop’s office at Bishop Kariuki Centre in Wangige
