During the day 2 pf Lent, a total of 42 students of Kamae Sec. School ( an ACK Sponsored institution) were today formally inducted and dedicated into High school education by Rev. Jeremiah in the presence of Ev. Paul Waweru, several church elders, a few church members, their teachers, and parents.
Rev. Jeremiah quoted from Ephesians, Feb theme where he taught them about staying upright education-wise and in Christ.
He advised them to:
1. Grab Opportunities
2. Nurture them &
3. Embrace change.
He also challenged them with questions regarding current affairs whereby those who could give correct answers would be given a token.
There was also a ceremony of 'handing over' whereby the Form Two's ceremoniously welcomed them and handed them the Form-oneness'.
The service was concluded by anointing them with the anointing oil and pronouncement of blessings.
It was also noted that (by the school principal Md. Esther) the school population had risen from 94(last year) to 122 where they had received 7 transfers.
To God be the glory.
