An adjudge of 219 young men & women from all 15 parishes from Kiriita archdeaconry led DYO George Karuku, AYO Ephantus Njagi hosted by Archdeacon Canon Juliet M. Bundi, in the presence of Clergy, Evangelists & several youth mentors gathered at ACK ST PAUL'S KIRIITA for a monthly fellowship and new year rededication where they brought forth their prayer requests to the alter.

Canon Juliet in her welcoming note encouraged the young men and women to avoid come we stay weddings but instead engage themselves in the Holy Matrimony, "hii mambo ya come we stay achana nayo, call us for weddings and we'll come," she noted.

"Do not be conformed by the patterns of this world. God had a perfect reason for creating Adam & Eve and not Adam and another Adam," the DYO Rev. George Karuku opened in his discourse.

"Everyone is struggling in this life. With the stuff being forwarded to us through media. Young men are being rejected, most are going through depression & disappointment. Struggles aren't meant to kill you but to make you stronger. Be vigilant, everyone is selling a fake life, ladies putting on makeup and advising us to live a reality." He added.

"David's famous quote, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death....he was also struggling; walking, he wasn't stagnant!"

He also added from the book Hebrews 11:1, where we were reminded that We do not have faith in the things we see, but in the things we hope for, Paul significantly concludes by saying stand therefore with truth like a belt around your waist, this he used to point out the fact that most young men & women are carried off by sexual sin.

It is only with the belt of truth that your mind can think right

The belt creates confidence, it improves the posture

"Above all, guard your heart for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks The days we are inadetermine na which side of the market you are, ya vitunguu, ikiguswa, you cry with every layer peeled, machozi tu, ma avocado (you best know it), wear the helmet of salvation, to control what we think, hear, see, touch, think of the 10 commandments, imagine "kukula kwa macho" is a sin. We can only win against our sinful bodies, if we put on the full armour of God," Rev. George concluded

The fellowship was concluded by anointing all who had gathered with the anointing oil.
