SEASON OF PRAYER AND FASTING BECKONS

"Prayer is not a power backup. Prayer is real power!" The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi reflected as he marked Ash Wednesday with Christians of ACK St. James Cathedral in Kiambu.

"Lent is all about practical ministry and service to the people. We should pray not only for ourselves but also for others." He added.

Students of Kiambu Township also assembled at the Cathedral to mark Ash Wednesday. The Bishop prayed with the Candidates.

Cathedral Clergy, Lay Readers, Evangelists were in attendance led by the Assistant Provost Rev'd Ann Mwaura.
