In the afternoon of 10th Feb 2024, hundreds of worshippers and tens of Priests, Evangelists & LayReaders in Kiriita Archdeaconry graced the timely Shiloh Prayers presided over by Our Father Bishop Charles hosted by Archdeacon Canon Juliet M. and Area Dean Kinyanjui (Kambaa Deanery) at their archdeaconry Headquarters, ACK ST PAULS KIRIITA.

"Milk symbolises work. You've to butter the cow to get good milk. Prayer is work. To get honey, you've to be stung by the bee. Honey symbolises struggle/fight." Ev. Wachiira opened in his sermon. "We fight against:
1. The devourer (the toothless dog) Collosians 2:15 Stand firm and resist the devil. The only power that the devil has is your ignorance. Though he roars as a lion, he's NOT one.
2. The world. Have a Christ-like pattern. Stop emulating the world. Instead, let the world emulate the church.
3. Our bodies." The Evangelist highlighted. " Why do we fight? 1. To ennthrone God. Jesus is only enthroned, only where He's enthroned. 2 Corinthians 10:5 John 3:30.

3. To keep faith 2 Timothy 4:7 Hebrews 12:4 The struggle is yet." He concluded in his teachings.

The Father Bishop, who led in the prayers, reasoned with the Christians the symbolic meaning of 40 even as we celebrate the Diocese @40: 40 means
1. New life
2. New growth
3. New transformation

He also reminded them that the people that you stand with, walk with, stay with, really matter.

"God is not a Noise Maker but a News Maker! He will eventually surprise you" The Bishop noted in his prophetic declaration. He also thanked them for being outstanding in the quota payment in the year 2023. After the dedication of the prayer items by all Priests led by the Bishop, there was a Holy Communion and all who attended the event were willing to be blessed with the anointing oil.
What a glamorous event it was.
