A RECORD 821 YOUTHS ENROLLED TO KAYO ACK St. John's Karura was today painted white and blue as hundreds of youth clad in white and denim assembled for this year's Kenya Anglican Youth Organisation Commissioning. The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi Enrolled to KAYO, a whooping 821 young people drawn from all reaches of the Diocese Five of them received their Enrolment in Canada after relocating after trainings. They were enrolled under the Age Set of NGAO, each receiving a branded wrist band and a certificate. "You have been commissioned not to add numbers but to add value, ingenuity, and professionalism. You are to be the light and salt of our society and the world; the change that is desperately needed. Let us start with the small things, for it is them that really matter in life. Let Christ take the driver's seat, He will steer your life to abundance. Now, therefore, go forth and build the Body of Christ!" The Bishop commissioned them in the exquisite ceremony.. The Director of Education and Trainings, Rev'd Jeremiah Muchokishared a sermonette summarised in the acronym OLD: - seize the Opportunity - keep Learning - make sound Decisions. The Service was led by the Youth Ministry Chaplain *Ven. Rufus Githaiga and Archdeaconry Youth Organisers. The event was organised by the DYO, Rev'd George Karuku.
