8 CHURCH ARMY OFFICERS AND 7 EVANGELISTS COMMISSIONED

In a colorful Service held at St. James Cathedral Kiambu, The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi Commissioned 7 Evangelists and 8 Church Army Officers. "Having a calling is important, but owning the call and allowing God to shepherd you is much more important." Ven. Kenneth Munanga, their Retreat Master noted in his homily. The Service was graced by the Vicar General Ven. Canon John Mutonga, Administrative Secretary Ven. Counsel Fredrick Gacheru, Archdeacons, Area Deans, a quorum of Priests, Evangelists, Lay Readers, and Christians. The Provost welcomed them, Very Rev'd Canon Geoffrey Mungai, Assistant Provost Rev'd Ann Mwaura, and Cathedral Clergy. Mama Wanjiku was in the company of Mrs. Munanga.
