"The devil is not a baby or weakling; he is a well seasoned veteran, experienced and cunningly dangerous. His very nature is to wreck havoc and soar discord indiscriminately.
May our prayer be that God will never permit the devil to subjugate us our families and belongings."
The Sixth Mt. Kenya South reasoned with Christians of Muchatha Deanery after granting *45 Candidates permission to partake Holy Communion at ACK All Saints Muchatha.
Notably, the gentlemen confirmed today outnumbered the ladies. Two senior citizens were also confirmed.
The beautiful ceremony was presided by Thumbnail Archdeacon Ven. Lois Musyoka, Muchatha Area Dean and resident Vicar Rev'd Dr. Patrick Gathagu, Rev'd Ishmael Muturi (Githima), Rev'd Kennedy Kimani (Two Rivers), Rev'd James Gachanja (St. Bartholomew), Rev'd Patrick Ndung’u and Lay Readers.
Deanery Evangelists were also in attendance as well as Clergy Spouses.
"If we will faithfully face all tribulations that come our way triumphantly, God will beautify our lives and livelihoods with a greater glory than the latter for our tomorrow is far much brighter than our today!"
Bishop Charles added preaching in line with the Sub-theme of July 'why does God allow suffering'.
The Bishop also rebuked the deaths, abductions, and systematic targeting of young people who were simply exercising their constitutional rights in the hands of security agencies. He termed such atrocities as inhuman, insensitive, unfortunate and callous.
"We mourn with the families who have lost their gallant sons and daughters; may the Almighty God accord them His peace and comfort.
We stand firmly with the families whose loved ones are missing. We pray for their safety and a speedy reunion.
Furthermore, we demand that all rogue officers and agencies involved be brought to book expeditiously." He resounded.
