RT. REV'D RTD MAJOR SAMSON MBURU GACHATHI CONSECRATED AND ENTHRONED

Jubilation engulfed ACK Starehe Primary School Grounds as Rt. Rev'd Rtd. Major Samson Mburu Gachathi was Consecrated and Enthroned as the 3rd Bishop of the Diocese of Nyahururu in a spectacular ceremony that attracted thousands.

The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev'd Canon Charles Muturi together with 24 Bishops led by His Grace Most Rev'd Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit welcomed the former Major of the Kenyan Defence Forces to the House of Bishops in pomp and colour.

The President of the Republic of Kenya H.E. Dr. William Ruto and the second in command H.E. Rigathi Gachagua graced the event flanked by a caucus of politicians.

Our Great Diocese was generously represented by Archdeacons, Area Deans, Clergy and Christians led by Mama Wanjiku, Ven. Canon Catherine Kang’ethe, Ven. Dr. Richard Kamau, Ven. Rufus Githaiga, Area Dean Rev'd John Gitau, Rev'd Haron Muratha, Madam Jemimah Kiarie, and Mrs. Maryanne Njoroge.
