The residence of kibiko used to fellowship at ACK Emmanuel church before they decided to look for a place of worship and then settled at Kenya institute of highway and building technology KIHBT where they worshipped under some scrubs.they were about 20members and held the service in English and kikuyu .In the late 90s they decided to purchase a piece of land.it is then they started sacrificing since most of them were casual labourers.they bought the current church land and worshipped there and since they couldn't afford to build any structure they continued worshipping under a tree,by now the members were around 30.they then replaced the Kikuyu service with the Kiswahili service. They started planning to build a permanent church since now the number had continued increasing by now 40. The foundation stone was laid by the then Right Rev'd Peter Njenga Kariuki on 19/10/97 .the church was later consecrated and dedicated on 13/8/2006 by the Right Rev'd Timothy Ranji The church was given a parish on 14/11/98 The following are the Clergy who have served in the church todate; 1: Rev'd Morris Mungai Layleader Milka Ngige 2: Rev'd Nyutu Njogoge Layleader Milka Ngige ". The church is also planning to put up a church in kimuka on a piece of land which was donated by an old anglican member.
