ACK Riruta parish
Emmanuel Church Riruta was started in 1958. It is in the heart of Kawangware in Nairobi county. It has opened six daughter churches and one of them, St. Luke's Riruta North is now the deanary centre. Currently the membership is around 700 members. It has four major services, a teens service and Sunday school. It is the headquarters of Riruta Archdeaconry with the Archdeacon sitting there. Currently the Archdeacon is Ven. Esther Kagicha assisted by Rev Dondi and Rev Wakhusama as an attache. It hosts Ukristu na Ufanisi sacco. It has an academy, Emmanuel Glory Academy. It has been able to purchase land and put up a five storey building as an income generating project. Currently, it's putting up a new sanctuary with a sitting capacity of 1200 people. Being in a cosmopolitan area, Emmanuel church prides in diversity of skills and language. All departments work hand in hand and home fellowships are one of the strengths of Riruta. The church follows a strategic plan that is always revised on expiry. Accounts are always annually audited and released to the members for transparency and accountability. The church has employed an admin for the smooth running of the institution.
